The Philosophy
Manon Salomon is a French equestrian coach and independent trainer based in the Aix-en-Provence region (PACA, France), specializing in dressage, rider biomechanics, and equine biomechanics. She offers a modern, analytical approach to horse training, combining classical dressage principles with a strong focus on the horse’s physical functioning and movement.
Her coaching philosophy is centered on biomechanics and equine welfare, aiming to improve performance while preserving the horse’s physical and mental well-being. She works with riders across all disciplines—including dressage, jumping, and eventing—adapting her instruction to each horse–rider partnership.
Manon provides private coaching (in-person and online), biomechanical analysis of horses via video consultation, and training clinics throughout France and internationally (France, Switzerland, and Belgium). She also delivers professional training sessions for equestrian coaches and riders seeking a deeper understanding of equine locomotion and training science.
Her professional background includes formal equestrian education in France, including BPJEPS certification, further specialization in young horse training at the École Blondeau in Saumur, and applied study of equine biomechanics based on veterinary research from leading French equine scientists. She has experience working in high-level dressage and eventing environments, supporting horses from early training through to competition preparation.
Today, she is recognized for her science-based, rider-focused coaching style, blending technical precision with a strong emphasis on communication, posture, and long-term soundness of the horse.
