The Philosophy
LAUREN SPRIESER is a USDF Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalist with Distinction, a National Champion, and a High Performance Grand Prix rider and trainer. A veteran of the High Performance Youth Programs, Lauren has consistently produced horses from green to FEI. Her students compete with success from the grassroots to the international levels in several disciplines, on a wide range of horse types. Her students have contested the USEF and USDF National Championships, the NAYC, CDI Grand Prix and the Kentucky 5*. Lauren is a high-energy and experienced teacher and writer whose wit and charm have graced The Chronicle of the Horse, Dressage Today, Practical Horseman and Horse Illustrated, as well as her own book on horse syndication. She and her students have produced dozens of FEI horses, as well as countless USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalists, many with Distinction. Lauren has trained with top Olympic level coaches including Monica Theodorescu, Lendon Gray, Allison Brock and Olivia Lagoy-Weltz, and trains horses and riders from her home base in northern Virginia.
