Training Philosophy
Tina believes that lasting success comes from improving the horse's balance, strength, and understanding before focusing on performance. Her approach combines classical riding with groundwork and gymnastic exercises to develop sound, willing horses while strengthening the horse–human partnership through clear communication and feel.
Professional Background
Tina has worked with horses since childhood and launched her professional teaching and training business at the age of 18. She has competed in eventing, show jumping, and dressage, and has spent decades studying with internationally respected horsemen and classical dressage instructors, including long-term mentorship under Bettina Drummond, a protégé of Nuno Oliveira. She founded Alivio Horse Solutions to provide education focused on classical horsemanship and horse welfare.
